Oh yeah, annual mileages:
LR: 5K/yr
RR: 15K/yr
Jag: 2k/yr
Carrera S:~6k/ yr (43, 000 mi on odometer)
4S: ~7k /yr (42, 500 mi on odometer)
The good thing is that they're ALL recreational miles.

Used to daily drive my 2007 C2 but just factory ordered a 2016 Wrangler ******. Will use the Jeep in the Winter (or whatever is left of it ...) and for the shorter traffic'ier drives to work. Eating caviar every day makes it a little less special and I really like the contrast between the Wrangler and the 911.

It's a shame US folks are not allowed to buy the BMW M135i. I was shopping for a hot hatch last year and after considering many I found the M135i simply to be a one of a kind hot hatch. GTi is great but the BMW is just spectacular. I had to have it.

My 911 is used as a fun good weather car only. Like good wine I enjoy it from time to time. Around 3000km per year or so. Some years I use it more. Depends.

My DD is a 335i with factory power kit added. (it is faster than my 997S)

Haha. Good one!

My commute is less than half a mile, so I walk or wife drops me off if it's raining. Despite that, I've put almost 20 K miles in 20 months: three long road trips plus weekend fun drives plus monthly PCA socials. On the few occasions I need a car during work hours, I will take wife's Ridgeline (if it's to a non-Porsche worthy location), bum a ride, or walk home pick up the Porsche, do the errand, return it home, walk back to work.

At this time of year, as it cools off, I find myself scanning the weekly weather forecast, planning the best days to get in early, get work done, and leaving early for a post work drive!

I normally put around 10-12k miles on my daily car. The 997 is no exception. 10k so far, and I haven't had the car for 12 months yet.

She'll get driven in the winter to stretch her legs out, but only if it's dry out. If parking all day (going to work, for example), in the winter, below 32*f, I will park in a heated garage if I can help it.

Been considering getting an oil pan heater, if this winter will be anything like last year's, but I'll leave those extra-cold or extra-snowy days for the tow vehicle, I think.

I only bought my 997.2 C4S in January. So far this year, I've been splitting time between it and my VW Eos as my daily driver for commuting to work, which is about 20 miles each way. I'll probably have about 6K miles on each car by the end of the year.

Because I only have summer tires (Bridgestone S-04) for it, I've been driving the Porsche only on warm days (temperature 40 degrees F and up) unless it's a "top-down-day" (75-85 degrees F), on which I take the Eos, so I can drive with the top lowered and enjoy the sunshine and fresh air. When it's below 40 degrees Fahrenheit, I drive the VW because I have all-season tires for it during the winter. I haven't invested in winter shoes for the 997 (yet). I know, it's a bit odd to have a convertible as my winter car, but since it's a hardtop convertible, it actually does great in the winter, by keeping in the heat. Here's a photo of my Eos, wearing summer shoes (MPSS).

I drive my 2008 Carrera S on weekends only…3K to 4K a year.
My DD is a 2010 Infiniti FX50S, which I really enjoy driving.

The GTS gets driven fairly regularly from April through November, then goes into hibernation for the winter.

DD is a 2008 E350 4MATIC, comfy, competent, bullet proof.

It is truly a shame. I am a proud owner of a pristine 318ti that I daily drive. I will pass it on to my son in a couple of years, and I told him that I would want it back after he buys his own ride.

I just love BMW hatchbacks

I drive my 911 about 3500 miles per year only on good weather days. I store it in winter from the end of November until the end of March. I do drive it when possible during the winter if the roads are dry, no salt and at least 40F with good weather. I just turned in my 2012 VW Touareg TDI for a a 2016 Audi A6 2.0T as my daily driver.

Here's my daily driver, work, store, beer runs and taking the dog out for a run. As you can see in 2011 it went through a hail strom just after purchsing it new the year before.

And here's the one I never drive. Built it from the gound up; it just isn't like my Porsche.

Probably around to less than 2000 miles a year. I have a Bmw coupe a Mercedes suv and a tesla model s all perfect for daily driving. Just me and the wife. Don't really feel the need to drive it more just happens that way and I live in beautiful California where I could drive it everyday if I wanted. Really want to replace my merc sub with a Porsche one that would be a great daily for me

I DD a '07 535d, a veritable torque monster compared to my 997 GTS' NA engine. When I was at my BMW dealer to change tyres they literally coerced me into test driving a 235i Coupe they had in their show room. What a nice little machine! Did you drive the Coupe as well? How do you judge the difference to your four door hatch? With two kids and pram the four door might fit the bill for my next DD. Only negative thing was the engine sound played through the stereo they call 'active sound'. What an idiocy.
