The only person a wheel lock inconveniences is the owner.
Bad guys smash the window to get it, jimmy the frunk, or just plain old take the whole car.
First thing I take off when I get a new to me car. I'm a 20 bolt guy.
Glad you found it.
O/P - If you are considering loosing the lock. I have extra's Porsche reg length if you'd like four?

I had to have the locking bolts air chiseled off my Audi when the "key" failed. I am not a fan of wheel locks.
The only thing worse than a wheel thief is an angry/frustrated wheel thief. Same theory applies to cab owners who leave their doors unlocked or windows cracked open. Take the stereo--but leave my roof intact.
I strongly suggest that everyone remove their wheel bolts and coat the threads and specially convex/concave part of the bolt that meets the wheel with this anti-seize grease.
Due to electro galvanic action this area is very prone to "fuse" the two dissimilar metals and thus makes it almost impossible to loosen the bolts. If to that you add the road salts that you guys use up north, then you have the "perfect storm".

It also works great on spark plugs!!
Anti-sieze on the threads is OK...but not on the spherical cap - from the owner's manual:
Apply a thin coat of Optimoly TA (aluminium
paste) on the thread and between the bolt head
and movable spherical cap ring (arrows).
The bearing surface of the spherical cap
facing the wheel must not be greased.
There are some strong arguments against using anti seize of any kind on the spark plugs. I have mixed feelings, but the details point toward dry threads.
