Not a 997, but spectacular!!! Thank you for posting, I don’t think I’ve ever seen a green 991 targa before.

The only thing that’s stopping me from one is that I love the hatchback on the 997 targas. Extremely useful, especially if you have kids and use the car as a daily.

Reposting this picture from two years ago because I recently learned something while at a Porsche event for the new Macan. A salesman saw our car and remarked that green was Ferry Porsche’s favorite color and that when a green one came down the assembly line, the builders figured it was probably for him. I assume many of you knew this already, but I didn’t. I am attaching a video of Wolfgang Porsche’s 5 favorite cars. You’ll see that two of them are green, what he refers to as “Irish green.” Our car is called “forest green metallic,” but Irish green suits me just fine.

Dr. Porsche:

I wish good color change resprays were financially viable, my black 997 would be Porsche Racing Green by the end of the month. Something about green really works on the 911.

I have to agree! I've thought about color changes on each car I've had but just can't do it. Gotta love green!

Does anyone recall a BRG with a lot of factory installed wood? May have been for sale in the spring of 2018? It was a beautiful car.

Mine used to be black but had to have green. Stripped it down and had it resprayed.
