That Olive Green is amazing! I love the complexity of many of the optional/premium Porsche colours.

My Racing Green looks very different in different lighting - anything from a very dark green to bright green to turquoise.

My Boxster was Lapis Blue Metallic, which I specifically hunted down at the time. Looked blue, purple, or almost black depending on the light.

Okay, I have a question. I searched for over a year looking for a green 997 and all but one had tan interiors, which I really don't like. What is the obsession with green on tan? It looks like every car shown in this thread also has a tan interior and it's making me depressed.

I think the green on tan looks good. Though, in truth, I would have preferred a black interior, only for the reason that it is easier to maintain. Tan interior and kids just don't mix very well.

Oh, and just to keep the thread Green, here's the latest pic of my car with Fuch's style wheels (Starke wheels, from Tirerack).

under the sun, you can see the green with a touch of gold




but most of the time it just looks black-ish like this

My malachite green 997.2 has natural brown leather (which is a darker tan). It works well with the orange wrap

I have seen green 911's on dark brown leather and that looks good as well

So I have the Deep Olive Metallic on my 2008 C4s 997.1 with the natural brown interior and it's a cab and I agree it's a great combo.




I know these look black, but they are the DOM and the interior is natural brown full leather

My photo abilities are limited but the leather covers everything on this one
