Anyone know of group buy for QuickJack BL-5000XL?
Anyone aware of a "group buy" going on for a Ranger QuickJack BL-5000XL car lift?
Any details (price, contact method, etc.) would be appreciated.
Thanks,
John

I'm also interested, although I came across a group buy thread from this August on a Corvette board, and they only saved $100 on the regular BL-5000. They got their deal through Workshop Depot.
Deliveries took about 2 months.

Unfortunately for the group buy, I already pulled the trigger because the thread went unreplied for days and I was raring to go.
Although there was some hidden damage in shipping, Ranger was responsive. I've done some maintenance on my C2S and CTS using the lift and the lift is very helpful.
I have to make some adapters for my F150 to see if the lift helps me with that vehicle.
Good luck...

No worries, these group buys seem hard to organize.
Interesting the Corvette guys waited 2 months, sounds like you got one in a couple of weeks. Where did you get yours?

I bought mine at the Ranger QuickJack website. It was shipped in two days. A trucking company transported it. About 4 days in transit. The half pallet was 246 pounds. The trucking company then engaged a local delivery outfit that delivered it to my driveway with a lift gate truck. I broke it apart on the driveway and moved everything to the garage. Pretty easy. Caution - each lift is about 75 pounds. There's two. The motor/pump unit is about 30 pounds.

Not a group buy, but I came across a Bendpak website that said all their products were available from Autozone. Checking out Autozone.com, they don't have QuickJacks, so I emailed Bendpak and they said: "Please contact AutoZone at 1-877-298-6651 ask for the QuickJack BL-5000XL and provide our part number 5175186. The representative should be able to process an order for you."
Right now Autozone is running a 20% off sale for online orders. I have my doubts if you can apply that discount to this item, but it's worth a try. Sale runs through 10/31. I just haven't had time to pursue this. I also have a neighbor that works at Autozone, and he can get 25% discounts. That may work better for me.

I called Autozone's 800 number and 2 of my local stores and was told they do not carry the quickjack only the lifts that are shown on their website. Seems like a shame because I see other people on forums as late as 8/2015 saying they ordered theirs from Autozone.

I'll see what my neighbor knows. Here is the link that says you can buy the full line of Bendpak tools from Autozone: http://www.bendpak.com/partners/autozone/
Unfortunately it's from 2011, and I can't find any newer catalogs.
I sent my inquiry about this to Bendpak using their Contact page: http://www.bendpak.com/contact/
They got back to me within an hour. Next couple of days are going to be hectic for me, so I probably won't be able to pursue this before 10/31.

I have a BL-5000 in my cart online at Autozone and they deleted it from their website before I could make the purchase, the total price came to $1202.39 with tax and delivery charge. I just called the number Mark provided above and was told they had to call Ranger to get the price and it was not eligible for the 20% online discount. I might have to bite the bullet and pay retail.

Doing a little research and the first review said that it will not work with a 997. Kinda concerns me a little.

+1 for WV997s and upier
I have the 5000XL and a 997 C4S. I have seen a youtube video of someone with a 997 and a plain old 5000. Seems they had to have some extention plates weldon onto the 5000 to make it work properly. The 500xl works great with the 997 I can tell you. So far I have only used it to do detailing and the 40K on my wife's Passat. I'm doing wheel spacers and an oil change with it this weekend. At $1350 deliver this thing is a bargain. (no relation to BendPack or Ranger)
