Default Future Retro: My 997 ReImagined

I haven't posted in a while, but I recently made some small but very meaningful changes to my 997. I wanted to make my car more timeless, so I switched out the wheels for the classic and timeless BBS E88, took the gt3 decklid off and swapped in a Getty Design Sport Classic Ducktail which I then had Chris Sterling of Sterling Auto Con meticulously prep, fit and paint the decklid. The results are more than satisfying and reminds me of a modern Singer. The car was shot by IG: @MNLphotoyo

The seats are Recaro Sportster CS in full grain leather. The seats are mounted on Recaro rails and sliders purchased from FVD.

It's gorgeous! I usually don't like the thought of butchering a Porsche unless it was tracked often, but yours is put together very well. Even the black leather Recaro seats look amazing in it. Question - which motor does it have?

What are the specs on the wheels including offset front and rear?

Nice car!

Nice job. Very sleek car. Gotta love BBS. They look great. I've had LMs and LM-Rs, and I'd love to have the E88s someday, for maybe a different car (with five lug hubs). The Getty SC duck tail looks great! Enjoy it in the best of health.

WOW...well done...that is as perfectly beautiful of a 997 as I've ever seen!

The wheels are exceptional.

The ducktail completes the GT3 bumper perfectly (visually and I suspect aero-wise)...and the seats...just gorgeous!!!

Is that Basalt???
