What makes it rare, "S" with the PDK? Did they not produce as many pcars in 2012 as in other years?

Just curious given that is how the ad leads the summary of the car.

The dealer's site has the car priced at about $1000 more than the ad on Autotrader.

I'm sure the "rare" part is nothing more than salesman "get me excited because I haven't research these cars before speak".

I'm really tempted. Would love to hear more people think.

Price looks within range for a 2012 per my prior research, find out when the warranty ends. Like that the front bumper isn't drilled as far as I can tell from the pics. Heated and cooled seats, nice!. No full leather package, but thats personal preference. Wrong transmission......

Get a pre purchase inspection (PPI) for sure.

Car looks good. I have the same car, different year, with all the same options except Sport Exhaust. I think I saw the button icon in one of the pics, the shifter was sort of in the way.

It's black, which means it's a PITA to keep clean and it's no fun to drive (PDK). If that doesn't bother you, then go for it, you could probably knock another couple of grand off the list price.

Ahh the best features of the car is the 3.8 direct fuel injected engine and the PDK w/ Sport Chrono pkg.
It wouldnt be fun to drive Just Awesome.
I dont see many options on the car but the only way to buy this one is to have it taken to a porsche dealer, have a complete cpo inspection, get a car fax, get porsche to pull all the service history, and the option list, then decice if its worth buying

Looks good in the pics. Get a PPI done (indy or dealer up to you, I prefer indy shop). drive it and listen closely for any vibrations, or other noises. I bought my 2009 4S a few months ago and didn't notice a couple of things so I had to get them fixed. They were covered under CPO warranty so just more of a hassle than anything else. Agree with other poster about the warranty - find out when it ends and consider an after market warranty.
