Default Turtle Wax Endura-Shine Black Trim Coating

Anyone used it?

I bought some but haven't tried it yet. Want to use it on the black plastic cover at the base of the windshield around the wipers, and on the doors where the mirrors attach. (Not on rubber!) It's supposed to last a lot longer than 303 or other silicone-based trim restorers, but I'm wondering if it eventually starts to peel and has to be painstakingly removed prior to re-application.

I've not used this, but it have used Back to Black. That one works well.

I used their Jet Black Paint kit which included a clay bar, polish, and black carnuba wax, all were black in color. I'm assuming this product is a plastic and rubber treatment like others out there but is probably black in color, going along with the rest of the Jet Black product line.

The black plastic trim on vehicles fades due to UV rays. The UV light from the sun penetrates the trim material, causing the plastic to oxidize when exposed to oxygen. Oxidation makes the car’s plastic trims darken and become brittle.

I used Cerakote trim coat for that area and was blown away at the results, and still going strong a year later. The stuff, for hard plastic trim is insane (I’m a little OCD. Just got done doing Decon, clay bar, 3 step paint correction, ceramic coat, 2 layers of Griots 3in1 ceramic spray and a top layer of TEC582).

The Cerakote wipes are pretty incredible. I started work on another car that lives outside and after a month or so the trim looks brand new. I am going to be doing a lot more of my 997.

+1 on the Cerakote - it works great. Back to black is still sitting in my cabinet 3/4 full - it just doesn't work anywere near as well as Cerakote - my windshield wiper cowl looks like new - I was about to replace it. I also used it on the door sill plastic - great restults.
