What no more pictures? Wow, do people just buy these cars to stare at them? I don't think they are pretty looking...
That is what Maserati's and Aston's are for..
my friend actually tracks his Aston

Yeah, the corvette was very fast and driven by a very good driver. The 4C held its own out there. I went with the local Ferrari Club and there were some very nice cars out there that day including a LaFerrari and a GTO. It was my first solo experience and I had a blast. Small run groups so plenty of space out there that day.

Wow, that's one serious baller. What does a LaFerrari go for these days? $4M?
I was told that what you bring to the track you shouldn't have an issue with dumping lighter fluid on it and lighting it on fire.....
How much are brakes and tires for that thing? Does it uses special Ferrrai brake fluid at $1k a liter

I'll answer my own questions. For sh*ts and giggles Tire Rack does have the LaFerrari show up in the tire searcher. $2200 for for PZeros and about the same for Cup 2 tires. No idea about brake pads and I bet brake fluid is the same for any other sports car.

It sounds like you have never been to a DE day or Club Track event.
They are quiet safe for you car and yourself.
I recommend you look into the experiance as it will not only make you a better driver but you will get the most enjoyment out of your Porsche. Porsche went to great lengths to engineer these cars to be driven in spirited and reliable manner. You spent a great sum of money for this engineering in your Porsche. Why would you not exploit the engineers hard work? Why would a Ferrari owner not do the same?

What you were told or most likely assumed is wrong.

Or purchase on-track insurance through lockton.

Couple things to list,
First off, these events are very safe for the car and driver. Anyone you see in a solo driver picture has been to driving school and was certified by a driving instructor. Their attitude is graded as much as their skill to move up to solo status.
Every track day has run groups with various "passing zones" based on driver skill level and competence.
Track days are not "races". Racing is a whole other story and yes be prepared.
If you crash or have mechanical failure ( it is on you - be prepared to pay).
If you crash - you did something very wrong - stupid.
Mechanically with cars -
It takes several track days to require new tires (That means way more than a few ) and the same goes with brake pads. - depends on your driving style/ability and equipment.
Runs are only 15 to 20 minute sessions. Proper engineered cooling in your car will keep your brakes in order and pad wear low. You don't drive your “street car” at the track 10/10's more like 8/10's – 7/10’s.
If you are driving with risk your corner workers will quickly note it and you will be Black Flagged. ( Yes, I have seen people get black flagged for unsafe driving. )
Tracking your car is not racing your car. So driving a La Ferrari on the track is not as you referenced.
Brake fluid needs to be replaced every 1 to 2 years depending on how often you track the car again street setup not (race car).
So as far as expense for taking a car out on a track not as bad you believe.
