First track day at Gingerman a couple weeks ago. I realized after the second lap I needed semi solid engine mounts and a Numeric shifter/cables. Lots of slop in these cars... by design for the street of course. The car is definitely under-tired on MPSS. Looking forward to CCWs and NT01s to arrive soon for my next outing at my home track, Road America, in a few weeks. Otherwise, she ran like a top all day chewing up Vipers and Snorevettes. Then we made the two hour trip back without a fuss.
my son driving our prior '07 S car at Kershaw, SC, aka Carolinas Motorsports Park several yeas ago, a friend rented the track, Chris drove some sessions in the afternoon. The only time we had that Porsche on a track. He was about two seconds faster than when he drove our Superformance 427 Cobra replca on the same track. We put Road Wrap on the front of the car to reduce bugs and rock pecks.
