Default Pics of Cocoa mats in Sand Beige Interior

Hi -

There is a reason for my post...Suncoast has mats on sale - front pair only $20. Unfortunately, colors like black or sand beige are not available. I decided to try Cocoa - figured for $20 worth it.

I admittedly am a bit color-blind...so my opinion here isn't too valid but I think that they work...but barely. I will keep using them so that my sand beige stay clean.

I also bought rubber mats so have those for bad weather days...and no, those weren't on sale :-)

And all of you folks with eagle eyes will point out the scuffs on the driver sill...I have only had the car a week and haven't yet addressed those

Nobody will notice but you. I did a similar thing with my floor mats. I have a driver sand beige and a black passenger mat.

For another $12 you could just use this THIS to dye them black. Just lay the mats out on newspapers, mask the logo, spray, let it dry and Bob's your uncle.

Ben Z - interesting idea - does it also dye though the silver "Porsche" stitching? I suppose it might look cool if it did...though I like the contrast of the lettering

[EDIT - I read post too fast - will mask the logo]

I saw the great deal on mats at Pelican too. My C2 has black interior. I though about a gray set of mats for $20 for about 10 seconds and decided against it. After seeing your photo I think I made the right decision... not a good look to my eyes. Sorry about that!

The scuffs... yes, my sills are scuffed, and a bit on the driver speaker grill too. My wife's car is wide and I can't open the door of my 997 coupe far enough to get my left size 12 inside neatly. That causes the scuffing. I have taken to rolling the car out of the garage by hand, then getting in.

j beede - no worries that you don't like it...it is a bit off...but I figure that for $20 will work, especially if just me. I can put the other mats in for guests

Just my two cents, I actually like the contrast in color.

Agree. I'd do that in a heart beat. Looks great.
Forget about the sill scuffs, is that an open can of soda in the cup holder? Eek!

I did blue mats on my natural brown. Not sure I'm feeling the cocoa on beige.

LOL. I'm a water only guy myself.
30 left. Twenty beans plus 13 or so for shipping. Cool. Thanks...T

I actuall think black mats would be pass-able as opposed to cocoa with the sand beige.

Yeah, I don't like that cocoa on beige. I jumped on Suncoast's sale a few months ago and put natural brown mats in my beige car, and I think it looks absolutely fantastic. If natural brown are still available, order a set.

I had black but for 30$, I had to get the natural brown. Heck of a deal. Can switch it up when I get bored with the color.
