Suncoast had the Terracota mats on sale for $30 and had a set that fit my car (with Bose), so at that price, figured I didn't have much to lose. I think it doesn't look too bad in the sand beige interior. Maybe not as good as some of the other color combos, but not horrible, IMHO.

If worst comes to worse, I can always sell them.
So, I picked up a couple cans of leather/vinyl/carpet dye and went to work with the Terracota mats. Went slow, sprayed a thing layer, then while it was still wet, brushed with a stiff brush. Did a ton of layers (total of 4 cans, ~$20), and came out with this:

Looks great! That's not going to leach and stain your carpet, though, is it?

I hope not. I actually let the mats dry for about a week before putting them in the car, since the dye has a strong smell. After a week, it has dissipated a bit, though it is still present. Hopefully the smell will completely dissipate over the next week or so.

I will check it periodically to confirm that the dye doesn't leach.

I'm just glad I saw this thread! $30 for the 4pc set? Yes, please. I ordered 3 sets in Stone Grey for my C2S w/ Stone Grey leather interior. Now I don't have to be paranoid about my existing mats getting dirty or stained. I got the car recently and was a bit bummed by what appears to be some oil stains on the front passenger side mat. I was debating whether I should try to clean them and was also contemplating whether or not to buy rubber mats for the upcoming winter, but now I think I'll just leave them in there all winter and then replace them with a fresh set in the spring. I was expecting to pay hundreds just for a set, but this seriously just made my weekend! Thank you for posting patriot993!

The rubber ones are black and about $77. Easy cleaning and durable as well
