I finally took some pics to post. I have been a long time P-car fan and I finally found my dream car (and got the wife's permission). I have raced and instructed for many years in N. CA and have always found the Porsche owners to be some of the best enthusiasts around.
Wow, that first photo really shows off the paint... reminds me of some of the "candied" paint jobs you see on really nice hot rods. Beautiful car and welcome to the dream!
Agree, gorgeous color! Nearly 10 years ago my wife *almost* bought a Boxster that color, but decided she wanted our then-little children to be able to ride in it so she purchased an Audi S4 cabriolet instead. (Now she's in a 2011 Carrera S cab so the children can still squeeze into the back.)
Some great driving in your area, too, especially heading up to the Sierra!
P.S. I usually advise new P-car owners to swap out corners for the clear ones, but the yellow ones actually look great on that color.
