"I finally took some pics to post...I have always found the Porsche owners to be some of the best enthusiasts around."

Flattery will get you nowhere! Welcome.

Thanks for all the greetings!

This color combo has actually been my favorite for many years. I almost bought a 996 in this color combo about 6 or 7 years ago but after reading about the 996 issues and that I just couldn't get past the front end I ended up passing. I have been lusting after the 997 quite some time, just needed to find my color combo with a manual and an S. Not an easy feat.

I was driving a 2007 Corvette for the last 2 years and besides the two cars being the same lengths they couldn't be more different. Driving the C2S is much more engaging, visceral experience.

@Wayne Smith, being the chief driving instructor for our club and also being a PCA instructor I have actually driven several 997's including a TT at Laguna Seca. The cars are simply amazing. They are very well balanced, especially considering their imbalance with razor sharp response. I have driven the 993's, 996's and 997's, along with some older track prepped P-cars. The 997 is by far the best, from showroom floor to track.

This is a 914 I drove at Sears Point last month. A completely different experience!

@SJP3003, it's not flattery if it is true . I was very active in the BMWCCA, that is where I started racing. I went and instructed with the BMWCCA once at Sears and could not believe what stuck up ****** ran that event. After that I let my membership lapse and ended up moving away from BMW's altogether. Well until I bought the 330Ci last year.

Our track club has done many events with the SVR-PCA so I have had the opportunity to work with many PCA members and have always been impressed by their friendliness and enthusiasm regarding their cars. Looking forward to many years as a PCA member.
