I think that badging a 911 in the first place is redundant. The new 991s make me laugh as they have a novel written on the back! One of the most distinctive cars available; if you don't know what it is then you probably don't care...

Back on-topic, not feeling the red S I'm afraid.

So true. Can you imagine how much space they would use up with something like "9114S Carrera 4S or Carrera GTS 4S...?"

Unless I'm upgrading to a GT3 bumper, spoiler and deck lid, I wouldn't de-badge mine. I like them just they way they are, but that's just me.

^+1! I don't get the de-badging thing let alone re-badging. How it came from the factory is fine. Well, I might have a different opinion if I had a 991. Porsche really went overboard on the badging. Why? To appease the showoffs who wants to be 100% certain every person in sight knows exactly what make and model it is so they can google it on their smartphone and see how much it cost?

so true, "P O R S C H E 911 S" etc I think it's really for markets where having that name puts you up in the rank of respect like Asian markets

That's perfect...simpler the better. Speaking of which where's the best place to buy Emblem's these days. I am looking for "911" in black
