Why wouldn't his insurance pay? They pay for at fault accidents all the time.

At a minimum his rates will go through the roof and I'd bet they drop him though.

Few traffic accidents are actually an accident as the term implies no fault. From the traffic stand point this will be classified as an accident with the 911 driver being at fault.

I'm sure they may be some out there, but I've never seen or heard of a policy that excludes coverage due to malicious intent.
