Default OK. C2S vs C2GTS, bullet point questionson differences

Hey all, finally getting ready to pull the trigger on my first P-car purchase (long time listener, first time caller. Loved the car (911) since i was 10ish, now i'm 49 and its time).

So, i'm down to this, as in the title.

What is the hp difference between the two?
Any interior difference's?
Is the GTS (2wd) a wide body too? a little confused on this.
Brakes larger than the C2? i know PCCB is an option at least on the GTS.
80 to 90% sure on PDK, better times and wifey will feel more comfortable driving it. It is an "us" purchase, as i race a 2nd gen camaro.
10% track time, 90% touring duties.

Meteor Gray or Silverish (the silver GTS on this board is one i have my eyes on)

Anything else i can know? I appreciate any input, i've used the search tool, and have gained alot from that, and i'm sure i've missed stuff too.

Sorry forgot two things.
Is the extra 20K (+/-) worth it? (I'm thinking it is)
and yes, 997.

X51 kit, +20 hp, 385 vs. 404
Yes, wide-body
I bought PDK due to disability of ankle, sorely miss 6-spd, but wife enjoys driving PDK.

Not sure worth the extra $, but I came out of a 6GT3, and felt the GTS was a good compromise "coming down."

I've owned both...prefer the GTS.

GTS is a Widebody car...same Tub as GT3RS and Turbo.
GTS has bigger brakes than C2 but same brakes as C2S
PDK is awesome...seriously
The Silver GTS you're looking at is absolutely beautiful even though my black GTS is for sale...
The X51 factory power kit rev's a few hundred rpm higher, rev's a little freezer, when the car is running in the higher RPM band it does not seem strained a little like a regular C2S. The X5a Powerkit have different valves, stronger valve springs, ported intake valve area, factory ecu tune...basically a different intake al together.

GTS Interior has Alcantera steering and seat inserts unless the car was optioned all leather.

gts is awesome. I found prices HIGHLY negotiable even for CPO cars.

For the record, it's an extra 23hp, giving you 408hp in the gts vs 385 in the C2S.

I have both right now — 997.2 C2S and 997.2 GTS. In the end, I'll have paid about $20k more for the (two year newer) GTS. In my opinion, it is worth every single penny. The GTS really is more than the sum of its parts. It just looks and feels more special, and the added music at the top end really makes driving it an even more special experience. I still love the C2S, and its narrow body is perhaps a bit more "pure," but the GTS has stolen my heart.

EDIT: (Four plus months after the above post.) For posterity's sake... In the end, when factoring in what I ended up selling my C2S for, and including sales tax on the new car, and also including some interior enhancements I made to the new car, I will have spent about $33k more for my GTS. That added up quickly. However, I am absolutely thrilled with the upgrade. I will say this, right now is the very best time to find solid, relatively low mileage 997.2 C2S, likely 2009s and 2010s, for simply outstanding prices. My guess is they will not lose too much more of their value, and will hold steady soon enough. Get them while you can. And if you can and are willing to stretch to a GTS, just do it. They're such amazing cars. ;-)
