Left, and I'm a tuner/mod guy. It's too much on a street car and takes an otherwise subtle under the radar car and screams give me lots of tickets. Same reason I won't own another red car. Pay attention when you're driving on an interstate to the oncoming traffic and you'll notice how red cars (speed yellow too) jump out even while very away - to the police too. I bet this livery does the same thing.

Ok... just a quick update...
Due to a last min turn of event... my other DD car broke down and I'm going to have to drive my 997 (on the left) on daily basis for at least a while. So I'm hitting the brake on this decal and only put it up before the next track event.
In the mean time, I've advanced my next mod (or two). Stay tuned ;-)

Owning a red car myself, I am interested in this subject (sorry about the thread hijack). I know one cop personally (not well), and asked him his opinion on this. His opinion (paraphrasing) was that in a lot of cases, the cop is radaring (or lasering) you without watching for something specific (i.e. color of the car, type of car, etc). Therefore, he may catch you without knowing the color of the car (i.e. targeting the car with laser from a distance as it crests a hill without thinking about, or even being able to discern, the color.
While I don't disagree that red/yellow cars are MUCH easier to see in a crowd, this ignores night-time speed enforcement and, probably more importantly to a cop who is chasing speeders during daylight, it is just as easy (in a crowd) to see the car moving significantly faster than others (but this scenario falls under the premise that the cop must actually be watching for something specifically).
Also (serious question), do you think anyone ever says "I'm never going to own a red or yellow Prius (or other notoriously non-speedy car)? I have not. The color issue always seems tied to a fast car (porsche, vettes, etc).

I wonder if in CA, the red Prius is the one that gets pulled over out of the pack of Priuses or maybe Priae LOL

Sorta like the extreme smart cars with the Hayabusa, but much more "eco".
