I'm with 977_Toronto, record as much as you can.
Since none of us appear to be driving and not on the phone or texting.
I use this app, to record on my phone.... Most are free or a small purchase price. Some even stack and send email video's.

Update, this happened in one township but ended in my township which are the police that I used. They took both of our names and wrote down what happened. She said, I went on his lane and didn't see him but since she didn't actually hit me it's on me.
They said I had to file with the PD of where it actually happened, so I spoke to the townships police department where it occurred. They said there was nothing I could do as it was a one vehicle accident. I told them that because I have good brakes and I pay attention enough to avoid the accident it's somehow only my fault? Yes, I could file a report but they would not go after her. I am not filing as then it goes on carfax as a one vehicle accident.
Called a wheel repair guy to see what they can do. I am so aggrevated at this whole f'ing thing.

Oh, and I bought electronics for years at Pepboys where we sell event recorder cameras. Have a sample under my desk as I type this. I feel like slapping myself

Folks, go get one of these, it may save you repairs that are not your fault.

Have your suspension and alignment checked as well. This happened to me (not Pcar) and although I didn't notice anything really wrong with the suspension or felt any pulling, my front tire wore down to the cords in about 2,000miles. Turns out the suspension/alignment on that corner was way off but yet couldn't feel anything. Go figure.

x2 - Previous owner of my car. Pot hole = rim, tire, tie rod = $5k insurance claim and carfax.

I sometimes ride a bicycle in my rural area and I try to make eye contact with folks passing me either from behind or in the approaching lane. It amazes me how many automobile drivers are looking down (at cellphones? magazines? whatever?) or in some way not paying any attention to the road at all. It is absolutely crazy.

It's illegal to dial or text in ontario. 300 bucks now, and I believe they are trying to raise the fine to 1000 and 3 points on your license. I would guess 20% of the drivers on my commute are texting or dialing. I'm mr honky on the way home. Next subject, texting on a bike, or ear buds/loud music on a bike or crossing the road. We're all doomed.

That sucks, that is why I drive with one hand on the horn. If everyone drive manual transmission cars than this would not be an issue. You don't have spare hands to be distracted.

As a little car driver and a big car driver, I can understand both points of view.
In my Suburban, a little 997 get lost in the trucks blind spot. No matter how cautious I am, a couple of times a year, I inadvertently change lanes across someone. And with that knowledge, I also try and stay out of peoples blind spots.

I had a former colleague, originally from Greece, who claimed that was a prerequisite for getting a driver's license in Greece!
