Would anyone be willing to email me a copy with the exact dimensions (maybe trace one on a piece of paper) of the stone guards (OEM or MagnaGrafix style works)? I want to try doing a set with plastidip and need a template. Thanks in advance! Send to: icanhearhimnow at g m a i l d o t c o m

Your car should have stone guards on it already. They're stock from the factory.

Just buy some narrow painters masking tape and outline the clear ones that are already on the car. Then surround that with wider tape and newspaper and spray away.

I'm curious to know how the sprayed on plasti-dip turns out and lasts. Might be a neat and reversible way to experiment with black stone guards with the plasti-dip applied over the standard clear film, then just peel it off when it needs to be refreshed or if you want to go back to the clear look. Did I miss somewhere where some have done this already with good results?

Thanks.

I hadn't planned on leaving them attached (was going to use for track days only) but haven't taken them off for 10k km. One thing of note - very small amounts of brake dust from the front collects on them due to the fact they're magnetic. Is a novelty more than a problem.

I think the black stone guards work really well with the white paint and black Fuchs/Sport Classics.
