No more black cars for you? Good luck with the search.

White and black are my two favorite colors for most cars.

Should I look at a silver GTS? Scared I would get bored of that color but did just see this amazing looking car...

That aerokit looks fantastic on silver. I'm a fan of black cars. They look better than any other color when they are clean and well polished/waxed. If you can manage that, you should always go black. We all know the drawbacks of black (difficult to stay clean, swirls more apparent, etc). In white, you lose the luster of a black car but the contrast allows you to see the silhouette better. In silver you see both the silhouette [I]and[I] the contours better. So you see the shadow on the hips from a three quarter angle better than you would on a white car which tends to drown out shadows (think of an overexposed picture).

That may be me trying to force objective analysis into something that is very subjective but that's how I see it. Hope that helps your decision.

White is nice, silver would be the easiest to to keep clean. I had a silver car for eight years and only waxed it twice, it didn't need it. It's always clean and swirl free. Personally, I would go with blue or something more rare but it's probably difficult to find in the use market.

If silver is still on the table, my 2011 is very low mileage (15,500) and available.

I had a silver 2006 with a LTS Lipstick red interior and I got so bored with the color that no matter how much I loved the interior I couldn't bring myself to keep it!

Not sure if you saw it or not but in the classifieds of the March Panorama there's a 2011 GTS in white with aerokit, PDK, and I believe 5-lug (says 19" Carrera Sport wheels) listed for sale in Melbourne, FL.

I must be missing the point of this posting thread. Like: what does that shark nosed convertible what-ever have to do with the Carrera GTS? As for Leader: your car looks a lot like ours. Sorry to hear that you're selling yours. I'm sure that whoever buys it, and you as the seller, will be happy with the deal.

as far as the aerokit, please educate me. I understand the cosmetic appearance may be attractive. On a purely functional purpose, what is the quantified effect of that rear wing on street driving (<80 mph). What about track driving.

Good luck with your search for a GTS. I searched awhile for mine, and got lucky. For me, i really did not want SPASM -20mm, but wanted most other options. It was hard to find it, but i got it.
