My pleasure. I was driving the Lotus recently and realized I forgot to delve into one of its best aspects: the suspension tuning and dampening. Lotus has a reputation for suspension tuning and handling and it is well deserved. The handling is phenomenal and the feel is great, better than my Porsche, but yet it doesn't crash over bumps like my SPASM .2 does. If I didn't have SPASM it might be better. Also, steering feel is the best out of any car I have ever driven equipped with power steering. The 997 is great but the Lotus is on a whole different level.

Thank you. Most of that is attributable to my wife as home design is her hobby just like mine is cars. She is also a neat freak. We have a different garage where others cars live and where we keep all of the "junk" as you refer to it so we are able to enjoy these cars in a pristine (as much as a garage can be) environment. I enjoy the sight of the cars so much more if there is little else to detract from them.

We are talking about Evoras, not Elises or Exiges. The Evora weight is almost identical to the 997 at around 3,100 lbs with options. Also, I specifically said best power assisted feel as the Elise/Exige (and my 4C) are not power assisted and naturally have incredible steering feel but it is not a fair comparison to a power assisted rack so I did not compare them.
The Porsche bests the Lotus in a number of areas but suspension and steering feel, two things that Lotus are known for, are not one of them (imo).
