Joe,

If you are looking for something similar to the PSE exhaust, you might want to consider the Maxflo Valvetronic, it sounds great and utilizes a valve system (just like the PSE) to vary the sound levels of the system. I would be happy to answer any questions you may have. Feel free to shoot me a PM or email - Joe.Neill@fabspeed.com

Contact Darrin over at Fister. Easy to unbolt your stock and rebolt on the new one yourself. You will get the sound you want specially over 3500 RPM's and it's music to my ears on a cool morning as it's crackling awake. I actually leave my door open until the car idles down so I can hear it and I have had fisters on my car for 2 years now

The Fisters look like stock exhausts with a gundo hack built in, is this true or am I mistaken?

The Fisters are stock exhausts with a gundo hack added.

Well for those positive members who don't think there too cool to remember how they started I want to share that I'm getting a Fister exhaust from Fister Motorsports. Talked with Darrin Fister and he was super helpful. First class professional who walked me through how to install them over the phone. He also offered that if I had any problems when I did the install this weekend to call him on his cell phone with any questions. He also backs his product 100% and said if I wasn't happy that he would take them back. I'm of course looking forward to the install and will let you know how it goes.

Oh one last thing for Vern1 a.k.a "arsh"....... The 700 other people who viewed this post must be as blessed as you to know it all too... EH...I don't think so. Stop being a douche, as you give Porsche owners a bad name.

You know I actually started out by reading about every topic I had a question on and guess how I did that - the SEARCH FUNCTION. I didn't start out after 4 posts by calling someone a douche. But I guess your a classy guy since you drive a Porsche

Why is it that some people get upset about getting called out on this? Instead of learning from previous posts, people just seem to post any question that just pops in to their head (and there have been some real winners!!).

I'd say some people simply don't know how to use forums or etiquette. Agreed, one should try searching the repository first and then ask away on anything outstanding. However it's not a huge deal either. Interesting retort from the OP though.

Good point ST. There is an assumption that a search was not done..... Did quite a bit of searching and of course there is so much information that provide numerous suggestions about various models and applications hence the reason for a specific question about a 2006 4S since it was not clear. Was the question bad... I don't think so. Wish I was an expert on Porsches, but I'm not.

Whether or not you searched, I'll say this in your defense: The RL search function sucks. If you're patient enough you may find what you're searching for but you'll cover a lot of random and unrelated territory getting there. I can see why people say screw it and just throw out a question.

Classifieds especially is a joke. As an example, select "Wheels & Tires" in category and then "HRE" in keyword. That draws a complete blank. Leave out the HRE keyword however and you can then sift through 46 pages of ads, many of them offering HRE wheels for sale.

I can appreciate the personal service offered by RL. We are a community, I will support the same question rehashed a few times. Search function? G00gle and youtube are much better. You would never need to come in here.

PSE? I had the hack. Preferred it over the switch and vacuum lines and valves. Too many moving parts to break. Plus I live in sand and saltville. It would surely break and I would get the privilege of paying for it again, in repairs.
