Default Dog Is My Co-pilot & Intro

Been meaning to do intro & pics. Had perfect opp today, as the only possession I prize more highly (although who owns who is open for debate) than my 997.2 went for her first ride in poppa's car, fresh from the groomer.

They're low-res cellphone photos, and could not figure out how to crop/resize, but hope they give you an idea of the new (to me) '11 911S, GR over beige. Had it 5 months now & put 8K miles on it (28 K total), including two long road trips. The car is awesome! And, so is the dog!!

Congratulations on the purchase and welcome Great looking car and pup. I have the same collar for my Basset Hound. How does He/She ride in the car?

ECS Tuning...Thanks. We've had that collar since the day we picked her up at the pound! I don't know what we'd do if we had to get it replaced. She's not fond of change! My wife found a padded harness, and that is how she rides, albeit usually in the wife's pickup truck. The harness keeps her from moving too much, and has actually made her a calmer passenger since we got her. Of course, being a dog, as long as she can stick her snout out the window, she's a happy puppy...T

9114Scab...Thanks, she's our spoiled rotten four-legged "fur child." Found out that she's a pure-blooded wheaten terrier after we got her home from the pound. We tried to take her to obedience school, but she schooled us instead. As for the car, thanks. I've not yet delved into all that it can do, performance wise, but it's been a joy learning as I go, and meeting all the great Porsche enthusiasts along the way...T

Yeah. Even happy books about dogs get me weepy. Marley & Me was a full box of hankies. And, Old Yeller; had it on DVR for a year & eventually deleted it 'cause I could not bear to watch it.
