They state it's still a serviceable item.

Buy a 2006 onwards and forget the whole issue

My 2005 just blew it's ims, my aftermarket warranty paid out and I have a brand new short block rebuild with a 2 year warranty

I figured at 60k my engine was solid, I was wrong
