.... and again, the 1 occurance 1 in range 4 is impossible and shouldn't be counted, so this car only truly has Range 1 & 2 Overrevs. With the 12,000 in range one it probably has seen some track time or at least some frequent spirited driving, which is what it's made for. I'd buy this car before I bought one with extremely low miles and 0 overrevs, as these cars hold up better when they're used regularly, and not babied.

I think some folks are trying to make themselves feel OK after having done some bad downshifts. These cars were not meant to be over rev'd ( driven like that). Yes, they should be rev'd up and are designed to produce their power mostly at higher rpms, but not over rev'd. I would not think there would be any real damage from a range 3 over rev but it is not normal to let it happen.
