Has anyone tried this one:

Not as aggressive, not as expensive either.

Is removal of old and install of new just like the 997.1 turbo - I could do that one like changing wiper blades - just want to see if 997.2 C2/C4 use same process. Thanks.

It seems there is now another inexpensive 997.2 lip on the market.

$450 if ordered on 6speed.

That's a nice looking lip. Finally, the 997.2 owners are starting to have choices of front lips.

Default 997.2 polyurethane front spoiler will be available soon!!

We are Finally Making a 997.2 lower front polyurethane lip for your 2009-2011 Stock bumper Carrera.
We decided on the European design and the introductory price will be under $499.00 shipped any ware in the lower 48 states, the price will be less than 1/2 the price of any plastic or polyurethane front lop and it is guaranteed to never crack like carbon fiber or fiberglass and comes in black.
The installation will only take minuets and will be held with screws and 3M tape.
we should have it available by mid November.

Just a heads up for those still looking to add more aggressive front end look to their car.

Maxton Design have just brought out an inexpensive 997.2 front lip, its in the uk but they do ship worldwide. I know some guys off the forum have tried their earlier 997.1 version.

Ive just ordered one.

Seems to be the cheapest & best looking option for the 997.1 models. If I was thinking of spending close to $900 on a front lip, I would be better off getting a chip mod instead.

Anybody installed the maxton design lip it looks functional. Does it do anything at high speed or does it simply mess up the handling? Monster were you able to get and install one? How was the install? I really like this one and will be getting one once I read some positive feedback so on the item

991 Sports Lip works great. Lots of examples here.

I agree with EMC2. The 991 spot lip on our cars really transforms them

Ive got one on its way, should receive it and get it fitted some time next week.

I'll stick some pics up and comment then.

I must admit I did think briefly about what it may do to the handling, and then didn't think much more... Do you reckon it could adversely effect it?

So I fitted the front 997.2 lip / splitter to my car yesterday. Its only been available for a couple of months now, previous to that Maxton Design only made one for the 997.1

Easy to fit, but it does it involve the removal of the PU in order to secure it properly.

I think it looks good on the car, certainly changes the way it looks at the front and gives the car a more purposeful look.

You think it gives a benefit on high speed runs? When you do give it a good spin, please share if you feel it gives more stability?...nice car by the way...
Personally I think it looks like it will provide better stability than the 991 lip...

Not sure wether it will add much in the way of noticeable stability, not yet taken it up to high speeds since fitting to test, theoretically it should add a bit more downforce over the front wheels though!

I fitted it mainly cos I thought it looked good, the car looked a bit 'chinless' without it, especially when parked next to cars with aero kits!
