luv the step lip deep dish. Was thinking of doing Offset 15mm less than stock all around like yours so good to know it fits. Been itching to get the Work Brombacher & may just have to pull the trigger w inspirations like this.
I am just getting around to posting pics of my GTS with OZ Ultraleggera wheels.
They are 997.2 GT2 size: 9 X 19 (245/35) ET 47 and 12 X 19 (325/30) ET 48
PASM ride-height (vice SPASM) and OEM suspension bits.

This shot looks good. In most of the others, the black wheels combined with those oversized tires make the rear tire sidewall look very tall and a bit rally-car-ish. Not my style, but not my car. Wheel design is nice though.

Huh.
The wheel/tire rolling diameters are identical to my OEM RS Spyder wheels. Sidewalls on the rears are actually narrower, 30 vice 35, than OEM.
The main difference, apart from style, is the offsets and a half inch wider F and a full inch R.
Yep, individual taste in wheels is all over the charts.
One man’s treasure is another man’s garbage.
I do like driving my car on rally type roads!! This was a bit sketch, with a 1000’ drop instead of spectators lining the route.
Even more exciting was holding my phone to record the video with my right hand while shifting, steering and honking the horn (approaching the blind curves on a two-way one lane road) with my left.

That's cool. it might be a look thing because of the wheel with the stepped barrel being black making it visually look pretty tall, but you are a fair bit taller than stock anyway (almost a full inch or 1/2" from rim to top of tire), which is probably what my eye is seeing.
Normal sizes are
F 235/35-19 (diameter (25.5" diameter)
R 295/30-19 (diameter (26.0" diameter)
R 305/30-19 (diameter 26.22" diameter)
You're now running
F 245/35-19 (diameter 25.8")
R 325/30-19 (diameter 26.77)
If you were running an odd fitment of 295/35-19 on the previous wheels, they had a diameter of 27.1" which is very mismatched to a normal 235/35-19 front and not a standard tire fitment. With an AWD car and that combo, you likely would have had issues with the transfer case but with the RWD GTS no transfer case to worry about, but I'm a little surprised the PSM and ABS systems weren't a bit freaked out anyway with a 6% front to rear diameter differential.
Even though you went from a 30-35 aspect ratio, you made the width so much larger, that as a percentage, it's still taller.
In any case, doesn't matter. As long as you're happy with the way it looks and drives, that's all that matters.
Exactly.
Those wheels/tire sizes are the exact spec for a .2 GT3 RS and GT2 RS.
They are only .3 " (barely more than 1/4") larger than OEM in front, and 1/2" in the rear.
By my calcification, the differential between my F&R is less than 4%, not 6.
The PS4S sidewalls definitely visually pop more than my MPSS did.
No issues with ABS or PSM, fortunately...but I am far from the first 997 GTS owner to successfully run the GT2 sizes.
BTW, I bought the wheels from a RL'er who ran them on his GTS at SPASM height with no issues:
Mahalo for your input.
You are "da man" here on this forum.
Take a look at this video, sometimes stills lie to the eye.
Recorded in the parking lot of the now defunct Newcombs Ranch, a pit stop on the Angeles Crest Highway since 1939.
I'm not seeing "oversize" wheels from any angle...
You're running 997.2 GT2 wheel sized OZ UL's with 245/35/19 and 325/30/19, correct? Or OZ Superforgiatas?
I am a sucker for a clean black 911!
Looks killer with the Aerokit splitter lip.

Hey folks, I'm looking for a light, strong, forged set of 18s. I prefer the car on 18s. I've been dailying a set of OE Carrera5 wheels and they're fine and super easy to clean but a bit boring
I stumbled upon these. I'm a big BBS fanboy. Any experience? Any other great 18" fitments?
Front: ET48 and 18.5 lbs
Rears: ET58 and 19.4 lbs
The BBS RIA is a great option for you. Another option for those who need/want custom specs would be the HRE R101. Custom built, lightweight, and forged. Available in 17"-22" sizing, any width, any offset, and any finish.
