These are Starke SC18 from TireRack, bought for a 2010 Cayman fitment => these are my winter shoes for the 997.
They perfectly fill the wheel wells for my NB lowered car.
Tires could be a little fatter to look better, but I reused tires from my Carrera II wheels and they're fine.

Never thought to look for Cayman wheels to put on a 997 but looking it up, it makes sense. Do you find any issue with rubbing on the fronts (or need to roll fenders) since the offset + increased width goes outside the 7mm spacers that I was told to put on my stock 8" width wheels?

The standard Lobster Forks 19" wheels are 19x8 57mm offset and 19x11 67mm offset (NB)

My summer set is the SC19 from Starke(same fake fuchs)
Those are 19x8 46mm offset and 19x11 52mm offset (I got the WB offsets to avoid spacers)
Effectively 11mm pushed out in the front and 15mm pushed out in the rear.
I did not have any problems running 235/35/19 and 295/30/19 on these, and loved the looks of the car

These SC18 wheels are 18x8.5 48mm offset and 18x10 45mm offset. It's better to have thinner tires for winter/rain => less area to hydroplane.
The fronts are 12mm(0.5") wider but the offset is also 2mm more, effectively (12/2) - 2 = 4mm more outward than SC19 => still no issues with the fender
The rears are 25mm(1") thinner, but the offset is 7mm less, effectively (-25/2) + 7 = -6mm (so they do not protrude more than SC19)

I've a nice set of Carrera II (MY02) wheels that were my previous winters.. with TPMS sensors.
I'll sell that set soon (The wife has already started to complain about the space they take) :P
