I offered $68K and we agreed on $70K. I live in NC and the car was in OH, so all negotiation was over the phone. After we agreed on a price, I arranged for a PPI from a Porsche shop local to the dealer and my salesman had the car taken there. After getting the PPI result, I flew up to pick up the car and drove it home.

If I could get a 991 for $70k I'd buy it - trouble is they are closer to 80k. I've seen a 991 in the 70s but it was the high 70s. I agree though it would be nice and the Luxor beige interior is much prettier than the 997.2 sand beige. There have to be upgrades and tech stuff in the 991 over the older 997.2. Other than the wheel base and front track width. The interior is bigger and more comfortable - no doubt about that - they are just getting bigger and bigger.

I most likely can get a 2011 C2S with PDK for 70k - it's just taking a while. I've never had to look this long for a 911. My patience is getting strained but I shall try and persevere.....

Supply is amazingly low. Tough time to find the right car quickly. Finding a good and well optioned .2 would be especially tough. I'd probably give up and pay more for a used 991.

Wish it was that easy- I do have limits and a budget - eventually it'll pop up. Looking for a C2S makes options easier to find. I'd really like to get one for under 70k!
