Juha,
You are my new hero! What a great summer of driving you had. Your car is just sick…
Your 'Ring video brought back memories of my "bucket list" trip back in 2008. I rented a mkI 996 GT3 Cup from RSR, what a first class operation they have. It was the most terrifying and thrilling day of my life.
My eight year old daughter loves daddy's Porsche as well. Your are a lucky guy.
Cheers!

Juha,
You lucky SOB. Awesome car, great driving, great way to spend time w/your car and use it as it was meant to be used.

Wow! What an awesome car.
I just purchased a used GT3 front bumper for my 997 C4S, and plan to do the fender flares and possibly side moldings too. I am toying with the idea of the RWD conversion, but will probably just leave it AWD for now.
Question... Do you drive in that type of snow, and if so, do you miss the AWD in winter weather?

One more question...
What was needed to make the 997.2 steering wheel work, especially regarding the air bag? For some reason I had thought that the .2 cars had a different air bag technology, and werent a direct swap on a 997.1

wow, great car and looks like you and your family are havin glots of fun. Must be nice to have a track nearby. Here in Cali we have to drive hours to get to one. How did you get the rear bumper to fit your 06 C4S?

A new bag from Porsche is about 1100eur.
Thanks! The rear bumper is a direct fit. (less the exhaust which needs to be converted to centre exit).
