My First Ever Porsche. I'm In Love.
Been a long time lurker. Finally picked a 2011 997.2 S.
Since putting 3,500 miles on it since purchase, each time I driver her, I can't stop smiling.
A few specs on her:
Platinum Silver
Full black leather
Adaptive Sport Seats

Very nice! Congratulations and welcome to the "club"! Swap out the orange side lights and the car would be perfect. Envy those adaptive sport seats too! Enjoy.

Congrats! We're almost due west of you in the Highlands neighborhood of unincorporated San Mateo County. Just after Christmas we picked up a very similar vehicle, 2011 Carrera S CPO, with key differences being (I'm not going to list them all):
-Cabriolet
-Black exterior
-6-speed manual
-Driver's steering wheel with zero buttons, *****, or paddles
-Bose stereo
-Standard perforated seats
Only mod so far has been Carrera S floor mats from Lloyds. Clear corners are on order, and I can't convince my wife to consider a DCS Motorsports padded steering wheel (I don't like this stock one; my wife's previous S4 Cab had the best wheel we've ever gripped) or Sharkwerks center muffler delete X-pipes -- she already thinks the car is plenty loud as she hears like a bloodhound and I hear like an old hound.
But overall, super super pleased with the car -- performance, looks, build quality and of course that "cool factor" very few other vehicles offer.

RobC4sX51, good call. I've got those ordered already and on their way from Suncoast 
Can't wait to put the clear side lights. Forgot to mention, car is a manual 
with Bose.
