2006 C2, Forrest green on beige, $39.5k, 30k MI
Nothing special in terms of price or equipment but really uncommon color. Not typically a green car kinda person but it really does look beautiful. Bonus! Clear side markers already installed.

The consideration given on purchase of my 2009 C2S for two paint issues undisclosed to me prior to my flying to see the car ended up being roughly one quarter of what was quoted by my local dealer for a complete repair. When presented with the quote, Park Place insisted the original consideration was sufficient and offered no further consideration.
True, I am ultimately accountable for driving off that lot as it's always buyer beware. But with a gap so large I honestly believe the dealer should have stepped up and done the right thing with some level of additional consideration given I put my trust in them to act in good faith in the original purchase negotiation - I had declared myself a first time buyer and obviously had no experience to judge the cost of Porsche paint repairs. Alas that was not the case.
Posting this so others considering a purchase from Park Place can learn from my experience.

Not a 997, but for the money, this $5000 1984 928 looks like a nice resto project. I love the sharks but don't have the time or skills to take on an early one.

Here is a decent deal on a 2005 C2 with only 38k miles for $39k at a Porsche dealer.
I love the deviated sand beige and black interior:

2006 Carrera S - 49k miles - $39k
Pretty great deal if this thing doesn't have a terrible history. They still could've at least ran a bucket of water over it before taking pictures. Sheesh.
