Yep, thats the easiest way I found to do it. Plus I found the original bolt and scored a fancy watch ....

Thats just from the part catalogue that is available for download @ porsche.com.
Its not a service manual, just occasionally useful for working out what goes where...

I had that issue with my 09 passenger seat. By flipping the seat back forward it stopped.

Just FYI, you can browse part diagrams online at a couple of websites. Here's one that I've used:

I had the same loose seat issue on my 2008 S and the seat bolt had come loose, fallen out and disappeared. Porsche fixed it for a fee and took the seat out to do it. But no more rattle.

Will try it because I have this annoying noise problem... What I usually do from time to time is hold the seat back but not convenient.
Is it possible to look at this screw (not tight it just look) without removing the seat just to check if it is still there and loose ?
thanks guys

not really, the bolt (in the image above) is behind the side covers. Only way I could access it was with the seat out, which was not difficult (remove 4 floor bolts, unplug electrical connections, and remove seat from car).

I had the passenger seat completely replaced and still have this issue, and the motor mounts, with no change.

Seat vibration is mostly due to crappy roads...

Sorry to necro this, but does anyone have the p/n for the bolt that wiggles out? I checked the PET and I don't see where that bolt is.
