owned a .1 now have a .2.. looks and all the gritty technical info aside, its a completely different animal. The DFI is way freer revving and it feels like it develops power earlier, it sounds completely different as well. The interior is much more modern inc. the nav, bluetooth, mp3, usb etc.

you have to drive both and but only if the .2 is in the budget...

The style of the side mirrors is the same, but the .2 ones are nearly an inch taller to meet newer European standards that came into play.

The 997.2 engine is mounted lower than the 997.1, but I think you said in your first post that the 997.2 engine was mounted further forward than the 997.1. Not further forward, but lower is correct.

IIRC the maintenance schedule is slightly different? Like the plugs at 40k vs 30k?
