Congrats on the car
From my experience, Nav-TV is good choice for iPod connectivity. You can control playback from the iPod itself if needed (or you may use the head unit's controls - which need some getting used to) Controls are pretty much the same for the Dension as well. Nav-TV has a Bluetooth option as well - which will route the audio through the car's speakers. Installation is easy - DIY ~1hr max.

You're not missing that much and as you said, it shouldn't matter because you chose the right silhouette and there is plenty pushing you around!

Btw, very cool shot in your avatar!

OP: beautiful car...congrats & enjoy!!!

3. How about Blue tooth? My vehicle doesn't have nav or BT... is it possible to purchase the BT module and have the capability through the stock head unit?
sport button on your car can be installed now by dealer - it will add 'sport' engine program to ECU - you get faster reaction to throttle and slightly more aggressive ECU tune. not really worth it in my opinion but you can do it.

for 2) and 3) - look up mobridge or dension units - they both add wired interface to ipod/iphone and Bluetooth. easy to install and definitely worth doing as engine on those cars is loud. if you will do install - install this unit under glovebox on passenger side, do not put it into front trunk area or Bluetooth connection may not be very stable.

with modern iphone`s google maps any car based navigation is obsolete/pointless so I would not bother but if you want it can be installed too, for $2500 or $3000, I forgot how much I paid for mine to get done in 2009.
