Default Help with a C4S Please

Hi guys, I am looking to purchase a 2011 C4S. The car is certified by Porsche. The car has a little over 11k miles. GT silver in near perfect condition. The car has a manual transmission and has the following options:

176 - Sport Exhaust
276 - self dimming mirrors
342 - heated front seats
425 - rear window wiper
640 - Sport Chrono
672 - Extended Nav
680 - Bose
686 - XM Radio
AT - Full black leather
P15 - 12 way power seats
P35 - Comfort Package
P36 - Infotainment Package
U2 - GT Silver
XRR - 19" Carrera Sport Wheels

My question for you guys is what is a fair price to pay for this car, and what is going on with the exhaust. Looks like it has some sort of cover over the actual pipes?

Thanks in advance for the help.

btw...this is the second time I have made a run at this exact car!

I would start a little lower-- 70k to 75k, but generally agree it's a fair price range for this MY and listed options. Nothing wrong with the tailpipes-- it's typical on PSE equipped car.

I've been in the market for a 997.2 C2S or C4S for about 2 months now. I'll be shocked if you can get a certified 2011 C4S for less than $80k. Please let me know of you do. I tried to buy a 2011 C4S with 18,000 miles locally, and I could not get the dealer to come down from $87k. The car was eventually sold to somebody else, which suggests that the dealer got what he was asking.

Keep in mind that certification alone costs about $2400.

Edit: I'm sorry but I see that your car has a manual trans which will of course lower the price by a few grand. Mine was PDK.

My buddy traded his 2009 C4S Cab w/ Sport Chrono and PDK (about 9k miles) (traded for a Lambo 560-4 spyder) last summer and got 80, it was listed for sale at the dealer later for $86. The Car was 2 years older, but sale was one year ago before the new 991 came out.
My 2cent, 75 would be good deal, and personally I would not pay more than $85.

I've been shopping for the same car for a month now. 70-75 is private party territory for a 2011 PDK C4S with low miles. I offered 73K for one with 10K miles on it. Lost out to someone who paid 74.5. Plenty of dealers are well into the 80's, even high 80's and won't give up much. As for GTS's, I've seen both 2011 and 2012's priced higher than slightly used 2012 991S's.

Here's one w/1,900 miles for $90k Private. Not a dealer.

I agree from a Dealer I think $80K or around that is a Good Deal. It is optioned well and is also a desirable color.

I would not let a few thousand stop you from getting it if it is everything you want.
