If the scratch is all the way down to the metal you'll need to put touch up paint on it, wet sand it and then buff it out with a buffer and a good compound. I use a Menzerna's FG400 and my Porter Cable random orbital buffer with a microfiber pad. Worked wonders on my wife's car that had 10 huge scratches from rocks flying up and hitting the hood. Be warned though, it's alot of work.

If the scratches aren't down to the metal, you can skip step 1.

Depends how deep it is. You may have some luck with Dr Colorchip for some scratches/chips or as mentioned above, use touch up paint followed by wet sanding and polishing.

I think he's talking about the "interior trim"......like the center console. I had a scratch on my center console where my mechanic scratched it when he went to buckle the seat belt.....I went to pep boys and got some "matte black" interior detail spray. Sprayed some on a cloth and I rubbed the area....it almost seemed to heal the scratch to where it is barely noticeable.

I assume you mean interior trim too. Here's something that works great!

I took my ashtray into home depot, and had them mix up a small container of paint to match. They scan the item (in the case, the ashtray) with a computer to do the match.

I am absolutely amazed. Whenever I get a little scratch on the interior trim, I use a tiny paintbrush, and the match is 100%. Same color, same sheen.

I've done this too, it works well.

I also found some shoe polish cream that matched my interior well. Dab into the scratch and lightly buff.

You guys are exactly right. It is the interior trim i am mentioning. Actually its the area where the center speaker is. So i guess its the defroster vents. I saw at suncoast there is a leather replacemrn part so i think it can ve removed easily in addition i also scratched up the wart by placing my awrist with a watch on it. Stupid me.
