wheeler & RichFL do you have any pix with the 7/15 spacer combo on your 997.2s with the Carrera Sports? Recently saw a guy running 7/15 with some Sport Design wheels on his 997.2 and the 15mm rear stuck out almost past the fender. He had Pilot Super Sports (like me), so it might have been the tire that made it look worst.
Here is a shot of the 15mm rear installed. You can see it's mainly the rolled edge/lip of the PS2 that's sticking out. So depending on what tire you're running it may look fine. Stock, the lip of the tire is just barely peeking out when holding the camera in the same position. What I came away with was this...I figured for $300 it would be fun/cheap to mess around with them and see if I could improve the stance on my stock SPASM car. As I said, the spacers I got were not even close to fitting properly and the vibration felt almost dangerous. If they had run fine I'm not 100% sure I would have kept them on, at least the rears. The spacers on the rear gave the appearance of the car being LESS low to the ground and accentuated the fender gap...where the stock is tucked in a little more and actually looks pretty darn good. Certainly if I lowered the car I would revisit the spacers. The fronts were fine and actually could have run more spacer in the front.
Wheeler,
Are you tempted to try these spacers? http://www.motorsport-tech.com/wheel_adapters_pop.html.
I believe they are the same ones as in the previous link. Also known as Adaptec Speedware, they are a sponsor here.
They do not show the three prong wheel centric spacers in their website, but they do make them.

Thanks Wolfk & wheeler. I have SPASM as well (-20mm), from these pics, I think 7/7 mm is what I'll go, 15mm in the rear looks too aggressively spaced for me, maybe if the car was lowered even further.
Nategracey nailed the spacing with the narrower wheels. Didn't realize how much the fronts could go out.
This should answer some questions http://www.trakplus.com/what
Most spacer kits over 5mm come with longer bolts. 997's are equipped with wheel bolts versus wheel studs. So, swapping bolts is, of course, easy.
