WD followed by Lexol. WD acts as a robust cleaner/polisher. Lexol as a conditioner.

Sounds crazy but it really works. Especially since it's high-traffic leather.

Attached are 2 pics. I know their only pics and it's hard to really appreciate it...but it's all I can do.

Bottom line: I figured Id reveal my approach. Should no one follow, no problem. Just sharing. I'm not drinking this stuff. ...yet! lol!
I highly recommend you spend a few hours scrubbing with saddle soap and a horse hair brush, followed by a few good applications of "leather conditioner". The "oil" may look good now but it will destroy the leather.

There is a great DIY on cleaning interior leather on a 997 by Rijowysock. It goes through the use of hot water and toweling techniques used with a leather cleaner. I used Zaino leather conditioner instead and had great results.

I haven't used WD40 but will stick to the Zaino

Instead of treating the seats directly, couldn't I just spray all my clothes, especially my suit jackets and pants, so the seats are getting a good soaking all the time?

Let us know the 6 month to 1 year updates on wd40 on your seats. I def would not use that.

Leatherique sold me, have been using it for sometime now and works great.

Doesn't anyone use the "Porsche" brand leather products?? I bought some from Suncoast and it works GREAT!

It's a 2 step cleaner/conditioner that leaves the car smelling like it should (like a Porsche) and has a nice matte finish with no gloss or greasy feel.

Haven't tried crude oil but I tried snake oil, and while it was very expensive it also worked excellently.
Actually my seat were transformed into GT3 RS carbon fiber racing seats.

My head just exploded from WD-40 vapors igniting.
