Center console refinishing. Ruberized type.

I had one refinished in leather and it was not to the quality that I had hoped; comments here are that exclusive option does a nice console starting at $1800 on their website.

Honestly, painting the center console is the best option!

i plan to get mine wrapped in alcantara and have them mimic the oem stiching found on the leather version.
painting the consolse would be nice but they are prone to scratches.. don't ask me how i know!

I'd consider that Porka but I can't really tell if the alcantara console you might get at suncoast would match the headliner, or how it would look in a grey car. It might be too light grey.

i plan to add an alcantara shifter and e brake and steering wheel to tie it all in!
but god damn those parts are expensive!

Sadly, most Porsche salesmen neglect to advise their clients to order a leather center console when configuring a new car. As a result, too many of the 997s have that wear-prone slush finish which gets bad in a short time.
I'm glad to have gone with leather in the first place.

You'd be surprised how many do not order that as option... someone just spent $186K on a 991 and did NOT even get the full leather interior?!?!

+1 for Eric. I have a factory painted black gloss center console and seat backs. He painted the hooks (that were grey) and the plastic steering wheel cover to match. Looks fantastic. Clearly he is the go to guy for this type of stuff. Just ordered the black "Carrera 4S" to replace the grey one on the back of the car too.
