*** all the way - wouldn't even consider a 911 without them (unless it was a GT2)

Thank you for all the replies
Fortunately both examples have a full service record and will get inspected thoroughly before purchase as I will be shipping them from the UK to New Zealand.

I will give it a few days to make up my mind, wouldn't want to rush into something like this and end up regretting my choice.

Here's a pic of my Porsche Cayenne S:

This gave me a good chuckle

Let's see.... we have two choices here...... a gorgeous Cobalt Blue or a "dime a dozen" Silver. Uhmm.... let me think about it for 1 millisecond..... OK, made my decision.... BLUE.

I regret to say but circumstances (ie significant other) have forced me to go against the opinion of everyone and I ended up buying the silver one. Will post pictures soon currently with my UK agent getting prepared for shipping to New Zealand

Too bad. Here in the USA I attended a significant car event the other day and learned that blue has become the most preferred car color for value retention. Most classic cars that fetch the most at auction are blue. I never knew this before, but it makes sense. Red is too 'in your face' while silver is simply "resale silver" and not very exciting.

Most Porsche buyers today are ultra conservative. Ultimately, the vast majority of Porsches are Silver over Black. Boring, but that is reality. No one wants to take a chance.

Not planning on selling mine anytime soon but, it is nice to know. I will probably be ready to sell when "blue" is no longer the color, and lose money in the process.

Down here in South Florida, white 911 are in high demand.

Yes blue would have been very nice
Here are the pictures of the car currently with my agent in the UK. Got to say she looks stunning!

It may be something I come to regret later on
I'm not really too fussed about it though fortunately

I'm in the process of liberating one white '10 C4S from VA > CA. I too am seeing fewer P-cars in white which will mean that this baby will be in high-demand in a few years.

I also like blue cars...perhaps I'll be so lucky to have a blue 911 some day but for now it will be "just white" (and a silver one too) ;-P

OP: your silver S is gorgeous! Use it in the best of health!!!

Porsches always look good in silver. It's the color of German racing machines. Can't argue that blue is a nice color. If going non-metallic, I'd go guards red or speed yellow.

Full leather and *** are killer options, and man I wish my car had these. These would be top priorities for my next p car. A clean DME report and well maintained car are essential as well.

Good luck with your silver german machine.

White is a beautiful colour on the 911, I would love a white one haha they were just a tad hard to find

Indeed the silver compliments the lines very well, I quite like it However I am not sure whether my one has the full leather option or not from the pictures:

Thank you for the luck
