Maybe, but many dealers CPO every car that is eligible, even if they are still under warranty. They pay PCNA ~ $2-3K and can usually get more than this back on the sale.

I am thinking about selling my car because I just don't drive it enough. However, I am not desperate to sell. Imported from the States in 2011 from someone who bought a new Aston Martin. Excellent condition, no accidents, no paint work, no door dents, everything is perfect and very well maintained inside and out. I am very meticulous and the car is always garaged. Doesn't see rain or snow.
The specs:
2006 Porsche Carrera 997 C4 (Widebody), which has same body as C4S and Turbo.
-Silver exterior with black leather interior
-US car (mph analog gauges but has digital gauge with large km/h readout)
-25,000miles (or 40,000 kms)
-Porsche Sport Exhaust (an expensive oem Porsche option). Turned on/off with a touch of a button.
-Full leather package - stitched dash, doors, seats
-Premium Porsche Bose stereo
-OEM Porsche logo color wheel center caps
-No navigation
-No aftermarket modifications whatsoever
-Has everything else that came standard on the 911's, except no navigation and the TPMS has been disabled because I don't like TPMS. Any dealer or Porsche specialist can turn it back on via PIWIS. I have replaced the TPMS tire valves with regular ones.
-Serviced at Pfaff, Downtown Porsche, and Speedstar
Recently done:
-4 x Continental ExtremeContact DW tires
-Oil change with Mobil1 0W40 with OEM oil filter
-New brake fluid
-New power steering fluid
-Alignment
-K&N drop-in air filter
-Custom Lloyd's floor mats with "Carrera 4" stitching (see picture).
-Conditioned the leather and detailed
Selling for $48,000 FIRM. Car is located in Richmond Hill. Serious inquiries only. No test-drives until the day of purchase. Until then, I will be doing the driving. The car does not need anything except for a driver. All pictures posted here are of the ACTUAL car.

#1 is a good deal for a car already in Canada. It has full leather too which is somewhat rare on the earlier cars that I'd been searching for. Go take a look at it and see if it works for you but the price is quite good.

Likely... you may want to post just details re the car and not so much the actual location/link. I was cautious about sharing this type of info during my search to avoid competing with other's seeking the same p-car. Most here already have a 997 but there are lurkers who will just view and capitalize on your search results. Based on some of your queries it seems that you're catching on to what you should be looking for and how to avoid a car with stories by leveraging a PPI. Every buyer has a different set of criteria's and you may want to narrow yours down to what you must have and what you don't want. That should help to narrow down your search to a short list of candidates each month. Then focus on buying "the one" from those hand full of cars. For example, I decided early on after a few local test drives of various p-cars that I wanted an '07/08 C2S with ~35K miles, sports chrono, PASM, full leather, memory seats which got me tilt down side mirrors for parking to avoid curb rash on the wheels, heated seats for the winter months, no navi nor bluetooth(don't want 8 yr old tech), no PSE(wanted an aftermarket exhaust system), and CPO(my 1st p-car so I wanted to sleep better at night re any potentially unforeseen high repair cost). After a four month search and learn plus a dozen offers on various cars I was not really "hooked on" to test out the low water mark on pricing across the US... I decided on two cars I really wanted and flew out to test drive and get a PPI on the #1 choice which I'm currently driving. GL and keep up the good work. You seem to be on the right path.

#2 Test drive went poorly because it didn't happen. The car was snuggled in the back of the dealer (from a lack of requests for test drives) and the battery was dead. That's not a good sign. One positive, was the interior was in good shape and I liked the color more than I thought I would.

Not that you asked but I will offer my opinion that the 2010 for 57k is a pretty good deal. Similar to Shanky's car, which I still think someone should grab, but with the decent number of options on the 2010 you posted, hard to argue with that price.

I am trying to make an offer on a Porsche 911. Asked to have it checked out (PPI) at EU Autowerks at my expense. Seems the idea I wanted the car checked out at EU Autowerks was close to a deal breaker for him. I'm having a hard time understanding his large fear of a PPI at EU Autowerks. He's decided to interview other buyers this weekened vs. get the PPI I requested.
