I am in the process of replacing the wiper blades on my 997, but because the car had non original blades, I have no idea which side is up for the new original Porsche blades. On the drivers side there is a small plastic spoiler, when mounting, is that on the top of the blade, or the bottom? On the passenger side the blade is curved. Does the curved end face down or up? A picture of the correct orientation would be wonderful if someone has one. Thanks!

Great thread, in fact I did my first DIY last week with the change of old wiper blades. I just went and checked and had one of them upside down, quick change and all is solved!
