Bottom line on LEDs
Hi guys!
I have a 997 06 4S and would like to change the headlights and tail lights to the new LEDs.
I've searched and read a lot but a little confusing as to which ones to get so that I don't get the error messages etc.
Can you help me as far as which brand is the best to get, price, and quality? Thanks in advance for any help!

Not sure what the consensus will be, but those FVD ones look the business and are supposed to be plug and play (no codes, no mods). They are expensive but they look worth it.

I don't have the FVD LED lights but I do have their full exhaust system, ECU remap, and oil pan plus baffle... all very high quality products so I would expect nothing less with their lights. http://www.fvd.us/us/en/Porsche-0/99...pc._05-08.html
Talk to Rhonda at FVD and ask for the RL active member discount and let us know how the lights work out for you.

Agreed. I have both the front and rear LEDs from FVD. True plug and play. Resistor packs included for the tails and absolutely no codes.
Might be slightly higher priced but worth it coming from an established vendor who will back up their products with NO BS. FVD is the way to go here.

These are the part numbers I got:
FVD 631 997 01 LED Tail lights 997 (Set 2pc.) 05-08 $695
FVD 631 997 03 LED Turn Signals, Front (set) - for 997.1 $495
Are these what you got from them? If you are happy with them I am ready to push the button on these.

I got mine from http://www.maxspeed-motorsports.ca/
Replace the taillights and all interior lights with LED's. The cool blue interior is nice.
Left the front fogs but replaced the internal white marker with an LED. Just me though.
3 years running and no issues. They work great and look awesome. Supper bright.

Does anyone have pictures of the FVD tail lights lit up? I know one of the manufacture's brake lights or tail lights form a "C" when lit up which I don't care for.
