Yesterday I pull into the grocery store right behind this beautiful midnight blue 993 C4S, he parks in the far back corner where I normally park, so I park next to him but leave a space in between for good measure. We chat for a minute about p-cars as we walk into the store... I come out 10 minutes later and find this. There had to be 50 closer parking spaces so this dude parked there on purpose

Porsche tend to attract sympathy, empathy, friendly gestures and attitudes;
But of course, the percentage of morons cannot be ignored... this was one.
We have them in France too... although my 911 has never been scratched, not spat at, although it goes wherever I go... including supermarket
car-parks (ooops, 'parking lots', to use the U.S. word! )

He didn't want door dings in his Ford Focus (or whatever that is). What better place to park than between 2 911s? Almost got it straight too
Yes, no harm no foul and I'm not mad. It actually makes for a good pic and quick story. And that 993 was immaculate!
Good good... no harm, as you say.
And do you know, I was just about to write along the same lines... I am a 997 lover (even now), but the rear end of that 993 is something else again !!! Perfect design balance... wow...
Over here, they fetch silly prices now... more than a brand new 911.

That's just rude IMO. Why not park a couple spots away & then go take a gander at the cars if that's what you want?

Congrats. Would love more details. Year ,miles , where did you find it? Curious if your open to share what you paid? IMO the car needs the classic RUF wheels done on maybe a hyper silver black or black chrome or even matt black... See pic in black.
As you can see from my past cars love RUF

I agree, the rear of the 993 is mystically perfect, visually the 993 non turbo wide body cars are my favorite car of all time. I chatted with the owner of the 993, and he shared that he picked it up a little over 2 years ago with about 50k miles for $40k, and he found it with a craigslist add. He has over 60k miles now and estimates the value over 70k which seems about the going rate now (I forgot to look/ask if it was a manual or tip).
