Awesome looking car... almost makes me wish I went with black..

Also very much enjoyed your write-up on your suspension decision and choices... just tonight I dropped my 997.2 off for Techart lowering springs, front and rear spacers, and Sharkwerks bi-pass installation at my favourite Indy. Will have it back mid-next week and cannot wait! Your write-up + Sharkwerks project car convinced me to go Techart so thank you. I will post my experience when it's done.

Wayne Smith & I took some mental health therapy on the morning of April 30 and headed north before sunrise from Marin County, CA, to Pt. Arena, CA, ~100 miles up the coast on CA-1.

No more than 10 minutes after our arrival, Achim Stejskal (Porsche Museum Director) and co-pilot, appeared like an apparition driving down the Lighthouse Rd., with a very special Signal Red 1956 Speedster, which was shipped to California from the Motherland to participate in the 2015 California Mille.

To say the least, we were all very excited to see one another! I wish that we could've tagged along for the last leg of the Tour to Calistoga, but we had to suffer alone, down south on CA-1 to get back to work.

Thanks jc.
Glad my thread helped.
I look forward to seeing your car when done.

Are you leaving the front spring top spacers on or taking them off? (it will have an effect on the amount of drop)

EDIT - to be technically correct I was referencing the compensating plates which sit between the spring and the support ring.

Bought a freezer. Stuck it in the garage. Immediately sticker bombed it. Took picture!

Hmmm...and where exactly is the "Porsche: There Is No Substitute" sticker?!

Perhaps that sticker is not required when the 911 is in the vicinity???
