I recently had the opportunity to fulfill a life long dream of owning a 911. Ok, maybe not lifelong exactly, but since I was 13 yrs old! But when I moved to Manhattan 10+ years ago, I knew I was going to have to defer things like owning a nice car. I had an Audi S4 Avant when I moved to NYC, and it just wasn't built for use in an aging northeastern city. So I've had to settle for "practical" cars during the last decade.

BUT...after 10 years on the waiting list for the small private garage in our co-op building, we got the nod this summer, AND it was for a rare double parking spot. So, of course I felt that paying for a double spot and having only one car in it was a waste of precious NYC real estate!

So here's my recently acquired 2009 C4S "Launch Edition."

Have looked around this board for a few years, lost a 993 a decade ago but just found this car. Had no intention of buying it(was looking at a Turbo for a friend) but he previous owner was there and I was blown away by all he'd done. Can't say enough about the car except I'm ADDICTED! Still haven't figured out what some of the stuff does though....
