Also agree with Petza, any deviation from black is an improvement in ALMOST all cases.
I figured I had a few bucks at the end of the year to treat myself, took the time to refinish the wheels on my own and polish the lips (save a few bucks) and in spectacular fashion....2 days later my wife cracked one of the wheels (21") on her XC90. $1200 bucks. (laughing through the tears)

Many Thanks!

What suspension set-up are you @jbkusa and @Graufuchs running? Springs only or coil-overs?

Yeah I agree with the others about breaking up the all black wheel. I had a 991 with all black wheels that drove me crazy. I wish I had thought about machining the lip at the time.

I have your same wheels on my 4S. I’ve never seen a machined lip on this style before though. I wonder how it will look with the face design. Maybe some photoshop experts can lend a hand?

I have been thinking about having my black wheels machined on the lip to give it some contrast. Thoughts?

I just have H&R Springs, ride is compliant with no issues, contemplating a change in the future.

I am thinking it almost time for a suspension refresh. 2009 with 86k miles and everything but springs are original.
