was it hard to get the turbo bumper lights to work on your car? Always loved this mod but didn't know the process or who to get the electrical working. Was it a straight swap?
It was definitely some work, had to cut off the original light harnesses/plugs and put different ones on. With the same amount of wires
Did the same with the lights themselves.
A bunch of trail and error, still got some issues to work out with the dash error lights

This is actually an OEM Turbo bumper. I cut off the foglight holes and plastic welded a section from a different bumper in place.
I will eventually make a thread of the entire process.
Definitely how the bumper should have looked from factory.

You are troubleshooting yourself? Not working with a shop? If so - awesome and good luck! I see you are in Astoria. I am in Brooklyn, but moving to California in 2 weeks.
Now that Summer has finally arrived in Chicago, I pulled both the ‘68 911L and the 997.2 4S Cab out of Winter storage to get back on the road with these bad boys. Wishing you all a great summer on the road with your 997’s and whatever other toys you have in your garage

First Porsche, first post. Bought last August as birthday present to myself. Not getting any younger so finally decided to stop thinking about it and just get one. Just wished I’d done it years ago. Absolutely love the thing! Spec: Atlas Grey 997.1 C2S, manual. Cheers!
Removed front PPF minus bumper, gave myself a reason to order an Aerokit bumper!
Love the classic look of Carrara white, once the bumper is on I plan on refinishing the Lobster claws in the traditional two tone black face and ordering some coilovers.
Steering wheel, nothing too significant. Trying to leave interior as original as possible in a “Exclusive Manufacture” type order. Cant say the same about how the exterior will look, although everything will be reversible with OEM equipment. Engine/exhaust similar concept, mild Champion Motorsport updates, all reversible.
